Other responsibilities that Jennifer oversees but is not limited to, includes developing a ministry for the deaf and leading a chapel service at a residential facility for the cognitively disabled.
Deaf Ministry
In addition to the Disabilities Ministry, Jennifer played an instrumental role in the development and launch of a Deaf Ministry at Crossroads, which she continues to oversee. Peppermint Ridge
Peppermint Ridge is a residential facility for adults who are cognitively disabled on all levels. Jennifer took over the Peppermint Ridge chapel service in March of 2007. Her commitment includes having worship music for the residents, teaching a small devotion, and offering prayer. The service is held approximately every Sunday from 4:00 – 4:30. The service is not open to the public and her devotions are not recorded.
Jennifer Felix is a woman of prayer with a servant's heart, and a heart for God. As a shepherd at Crossroads Christian Chuch, I've been priviledged to share ministry opportunities with her, and have been inspired by her humility and obedience to Gods calling. I can offer no higher praise than that.
